Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, a global network of real estate firms, has entered into a partnership to provide 3D technology to its members.

The new partnership with GeoData Technologies will make GeoData’s SiteSeer3D software available to Leading Real Estate Companies of the World’s 600 real estate firms.

The network does not outline the cost to members, but says the 3D technology will result in “more professional buyer presentations using plasma TVs, laptops and remotely over the Internet using interactive websites”.

SiteSeer3D is billed as “collaborative search and analysis technology” that allows agents to display homes and neighbourhoods to prospective buyers online. The product displays neighbourhoods in 3D, and allows agents to discuss listings with clients remotely while displaying various data about an area. Development plans can also be overlaid onto an existing 3D map. This video explains the product in detail.

“Our services will allow these brokers to provide a realistic sense of available properties, their location and the surrounding neighbourhoods in ways that have not been possible,” said GeoData Technologies president Mark Williams in a statement. “3D virtual realty is a new and highly effective guided virtual tour option that can be provided to clients regardless of their location.”
