New Facebook App from vFlyer

US online marketing service vFlyer has jumped on the Facebook bandwagon this week with the release of a new listings promotion application.

Finding Advocates, not Just Customers

Beyond great service, there are a few digital marketing strategies you can employ to get people on board as advocates for your brand.

New Social Tool for Aussie Agents

With the importance of social media for real estate agents becoming clearer by the day, the team at Classified Ad Ventures (owner of propertyadguru.com) have come up with a new social tool to help Australian agents: SOBOX.

SOBOX aims to provide agents with “social media in a box”, taking any hassle associated with setting up and maintaining their social media presence out of the equation.

Is Facebook Part of Your Plan?

Up until last week, you might have been content to leave Facebook out of your online marketing strategy. But now that we’ve seen this particular social network topple Google in terms of visits in the US, chances are you’re starting to re-think your position.

New Facebook App from roost.com

US agents keen to upgrade their Facebook profiles now have a new option from roost.com: an application simply named “Social Real Estate”.

According to roost.com, the new application creates a “Real Estate” tab on the Facebook pages of real estate agents and brokers. It can then display city-specific housing, education, and walkability data to create more engagement with your contacts.

tweetmehomes.com Lists on Twitter

One of the big debates surrounding the use of Twitter in real estate is whether listings should be broadcast through the social networking tool. Some argue that Twitter should be all about relationship building, while others say the occasional listing is perfectly ok to include. Still others are in favour of Twitter accounts that only tweet listings, maintaining they will only reach those who are truly interested.

tweetmehomes.com is a new US-based Twitter service that comes down firmly on the “listings only” side of the debate.

Two New Options for US Agents

Two new options have recently surfaced for US-based real estate professionals: an embeddable map-based search engine from realbird.com and a new social network for agents as well as investors and vendors.

Make the Most of Facebook Fans

With all the hype surrounding Twitter over the last 12 months, you could be forgiven for wondering whether Facebook is gradually going out of style. In fact, it might come as a surprise to learn that Facebook is more popular than ever, and businesses are quickly realising that over 100 million monthly visitors in the US alone is a potential audience they can’t afford to ignore.
