New Widget from findaproperty.com
UK property portal findaproperty.com, which has just come out with an iPhone application, has also released a widget showing UK average house prices that can be added to any website.
The widget displays asking price data for both flats and houses in any UK town or county for either sales or rentals. findaproperty.com explains that it shows asking price changes for the last 90 days in both graph and tabular formats.
Seven Portals the Minimum: home.co.uk
The results of a survey from home.co.uk, a UK-based property search engine, show some interesting trends in the listing habits of UK agencies.
home.co.uk surveyed 14,660 agencies to come up with the results, which show 93 percent of respondents list their properties on at least one portal. However, just over 20 percent of respondents were found to advertise on only one portal. Which was the most popular portal? You guessed it: rightmove.co.uk.

Julian Bending, of The Real Ralph Bending agency, has been accepted by pay-per-lead portal propertyindex.com after being banned from UK market leader rightmove.co.uk.

Uk estate agent Julian Bending, of The Real Ralph Bending agency, has allegedly had his listings taken down from some of the UK’s biggest portals including rightmove.co.uk and primelocation.com, and been banned from advertising in local newspapers.
DPG Reveals Analytics Tool
The Digital Property Group is in the process of unveiling a marketing analytics tool for its member agents. Called “Insight”, the tool will allow agents to monitor their traffic, and use the data to improve consumer marketing.
